Good Start

it's 6:20 am, the sun is starting to come up, and my roommates and i just got back after our first night of mardi gras break. we began with parade watching, though it was just jared and i and some friends, as mike was working and ryan hanging out with his grandpa. the parades were fun, but nothing really happened til about 1, when mike finally got back from work. jared and i had taken it easy til then, not wanting to get too far ahead of mike. as soon as he got back though, it was shotgunning beer and jaegerbombs for an hour or so, when we decided to head downtown. though we were a bit late to see the insane crowds, with chicks flashing every three feet, it was still a good time. hand grenades all round, adequate amount of boobage, i found $10 and a kickass captain morgan pirate hat on the ground, got to see some horse cops beat down a couple of tourists, and we topped it all off with a few minutes of relaxation looking out over the water and beignets. all in all a good start to an amazing week.
